RMHT Three Day Eventing

This equestrian event is considered to be one of the most challenging for both horse and rider. It evolved from the days when horses were used in battle. It is now labelled the triathalon of the equine world. One horse, one rider, three disciplines.

Dressage - the classical movement of a horse and rider through patterns in an arena.

Cross Country - a full gallop around a solid fence cross country course challenging speed with strength and finesse to finish.

Stadium - a precise show jumping round where rails can fall, designed to test the obedience of the horse and accuracy of the rider.

All these phases held over 2 days.
